On May 22, 2017, the Mountain View Rental Housing Committee announced the 2017 general rent adjustment for covered units at 3.4%. The rent increase is permitted to take effect as of September 1, 2017. Tenants who are on a month to month tenancy may have their rent increased to the annual general adjustment only if they are served with a minimum of a 30 Days’ notice and the landlord is in compliance with the Community Stabilization and Fair Rent Act.
